At 9:00 am on Friday, May 17th, our students performed for their families in our annual Heritage Assembly. They celebrated our diverse community through the singing and dancing that has become a tradition at Stone Academy. Thanks to all the teachers (within the building and beyond) for making this another memorable event. We were grateful to have so many families attend, and would like to remind those who couldn't make it that a DVD commemorating the event is available for purchase in the office.
Come celebrate the great work and great people of the Stone Scholastic Academy family. Join us for this special event at 8:00 a.m. on May 31st to honor the many ways we've come together to support our children, our teachers and our community.
Another year at Stone Academy is winding down, signaling the departure of another 8th Grade class. The commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. on June 18th. Come honor the end your child's journey at Stone, and celebrate new beginnings with the rest of our graduates.
Because of several requests to extend the deadline for Jog-A-Thon donations, we have decided push back the deadline to Wednesday, May 22nd. Thanks to all our hardworking volunteers and members of the Stone Community who made this event possible. Here is an updated list of collected pledges for individual classrooms.
Another Successful Jog-a-thon Completed!
Since there are several participants who requested extensions for collecting jog-a-thon money, we will extend the deadline for all and accept pledge money for the jog-a-thon through early next week. Please try to get all the money to the office by Wednesday, May 22nd. Below is the status as of Sunday, May 12th, for the parties and uniform-free days:*

3. 5th Grade ($808.00/ classroom
4. Kindergarten ($692.00/ classroom)
5. 6th Grade ($651.75/ classroom)
6. 4th Grade ($540.50/ classroom)
7. 3rd Grade($513.00/ classroom)
8. 8th Grade ($177.50/ classroom)
9. 7th Grade (127.50/ classroom)
*Money is averaged between classrooms since some grade levels have more classes, which would allow them more students to collect pledges.
